I am a freelance writer and editor with over twenty years of experience. I started by proofreading for the World Bank in Washington, DC, while attending graduate school for Russian history. I then worked my way up from the entry-level position of production editor at Cincinnati-based F+W Media (then, F&W Publications), eventually becoming a full editor after gaining experience with North Light, Popular Woodworking, and Writer’s Digest titles.

After returning to freelance work in 2000, I branched out to edit fiction and nonfiction as well as special projects. I have edited books in a wide range of genres, including intellectual history, humor, songwriting, writing instruction, memoir, craft instruction, literary fiction, and paranormal romance.
